How ZingZee handles
your information.
The privacy policy, the cookies this site sets, how we process and protect data, and the company details behind it. One page, written for the people who send us an enquiry.
Privacy policy
This policy covers zingzee.com and the enquiries, calls and engagements that come through it. The controller is ZingZee Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus.
What we collect
We hold the information you give us: your name, your company, your work email address and the message you send through the contact form, plus what you tell us afterwards by email, phone or in meetings. We do not buy data about you, and this site runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use it to answer your enquiry, to scope and run the work you ask for, to invoice for it and to keep the records Cyprus company and tax law requires. We send marketing only when you have asked for it, and one reply stops it.
Who sees it
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. The providers that run our email, hosting and accounting handle data on our written instructions and only for those services. Beyond that we disclose personal data only where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we process it, and receive it in a portable format. Write to sales@zingzee.com and we act within one month. You can also complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is published here and the date at the top of the page moves.
Data processing
ZingZee Ltd is the controller for the personal data described on this page.
- What we process
- Name, company, work email address and the message you send, plus later correspondence about the enquiry or engagement.
- Why
- To reply to you, to scope and deliver the work, to invoice for it and to keep company records.
- Lawful basis
- Our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you sent; the contract with you once an engagement starts; our legal obligation to keep accounting records; your consent for marketing.
- How long
- For as long as the enquiry or engagement is live, and for the period Cyprus company and tax law requires after that. Then we delete it.
Where we handle personal data inside a client's own systems as part of an engagement, the client is the controller. We act as processor on the client's written instructions under the contract for that work.
AI tools
We use AI tools in delivering our work and in handling enquiries, including transcription, drafting and analysis. Information you send us may therefore be processed by those tools, acting on our instructions under confidentiality and data-processing terms. We do not use client data to train models, and the tools we use are not permitted to train on it either. If you want to know which tools were involved in handling your data, ask us and we will tell you.
Security
Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it for the work, through individual accounts with multi-factor authentication. Data moves over encrypted connections. Company devices are encrypted and kept up to date.
If a security incident affects your personal data, we tell you and the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection within the timescales the GDPR sets, and we say what happened and what we did about it.
Client engagements with specific security requirements are agreed in writing before the work starts.
