Azure is the right choice when a company's staff sign in through Microsoft 365, its documents live in SharePoint and OneDrive, and its finance or operations system runs on Windows Server or SQL Server. In that position the identity, licensing, and management already in place carry across and a second vendor is avoided. It is the right choice for a business that holds Windows or SQL Server licences it can bring with it, and for a company that needs a private connection between its office network and its cloud servers. An organisation whose IT provider, auditor, or parent company already works in Microsoft's tools has the same case, as does a company that wants a domain controller, a file server, and a line-of-business application off the office hardware without changing how staff log in. When Azure is the wrong choice
Azure is the wrong choice when a company has no Microsoft footprint and its systems are built on open-source tooling, because the identity and licensing advantages do not apply. In that case the assessment usually prices AWS, a dedicated server, or owned hardware lower for the same load. What the client provides

Outside the engagement
Azure usage fees, Microsoft licences and subscriptions, third-party software licences, the office internet and private link circuit, and legal review of Microsoft's terms are the client's to hold; ZingZee specifies each, confirms it is in place before go-live, and reports usage against the cost model.

Global administrator rights are held by named break-glass accounts with hardware second factors and used only under a logged procedure; everyone else works through a role with the minimum rights the task needs. Servers are patched on a published schedule with a maintenance window agreed with the client, backups are tested by restore on a schedule, and every server, database, and service reports to one log workspace. Every resource carries a tag for its service and owner, every subscription carries a budget alarm, and the bill is reviewed monthly against the model. A change goes live only when the tests and the posture checks pass.

The cost of an Azure engagement depends on the number of servers and applications, the state of any existing subscription, the licences the client can bring, the security and compliance rules, the volume of data to move, and the support hours required. A tenant baseline with a single workload deployed is a matter of weeks. Moving an office server room with a domain controller, file server, and one or two applications is a programme of a few months that goes live one system at a time. The monthly Azure bill is modelled in the assessment and reported against that model after go-live, and the managed service is priced monthly by the number of resources and the response times agreed.
